Treat yourself to an Inspiring and Refreshing Week in
Spain
One week holiday retreats at a wonderful and peaceful mountain
centre in Andalucia, Spain with pools, caves and magnificent meals
every day.
Instructor
James Jewell
draws on
Inner, Scaravelli, Vini,
and
Yin
yoga schools in two-hour sessions which are held twice a day,
including long, guided, healing relaxations. Morning and Evening
meditations in the caves start and finish the day. This leaves
plenty of time to walk, read, lounge by the pool, travel around
Andalucia...... or simply to be still.
One Week Holiday/retreats are offered in June, July/August and
September 2008 and are a very reasonable 950 Euros, including yoga
sessions, lodging and meals for the entire week.
Retreat dates:
~
1-8 June 2008
~ 22-29 June 2008
~ 27 July - 3 Aug 2008
~ 14-21 Sept
2008
Past Participants in James Jewells Yoga Holidays Write:
John
(Beginner): Its hard to put into words what this week has meant for
me. Thank you for your encouragement, warmth, concern, support and
love - it really does shine through.
Riana
(Experienced): A practice which is gentle but strong in the subtlest
of ways; a practice which integrates absorbing meditative sequences;
clear and precise instructions delivered in a calm, gentle manner; a
caring and nurturing practice encouraging "working to the edge and
flirting around that edge" in each asana...

Are you looking to be led
gently towards
a slower path of stillness and peace? |
These courses offer you the possibility to immerse yourself within a
beautiful, highly relaxing environment, with a chance to nourish
your being on a varied diet of meditations, postures and guided
relaxations.
The opportunity to be your self, to challenge yourself, to explore,
rest, recuperate and heal.
To adjust to the slower rhythm of nature around.
To enjoy yourself, to have fun, laugh, meet new people, share and
learn.
"My intention as a teacher is to provide a safe, enjoyable
environment - using an intuitive approach whereby the teaching can
be adapted to suit the person/group. I always like to be as creative
as possible within the teaching to encourage, stimulate and deepen
the practice and self enquiry. As such the rhythm of each class can
vary enormously - sometimes with flowing sequences, other times with
long held postures and always with self-reflecting meditations and
relaxations. Sometimes partner work too is practiced to help to
give, receive, learn from and appreciate the experience with others.
I am far more interested in the quality of awareness brought to
each person's self- journey rather than the attainment of advanced
physical postures. While any session may contain some more
"challenging" postures, everyone is always given alternative options
so that they can practice safely and wisely.
You do not need to be able to do headstands, shoulderstands,
handstands or advanced back bends to come along and participate!
Yoga is for everyone and anyone and is not limited to any particular
body type, age or set of beliefs."
