Anubhuti has been created as a special place for
reflection, on seven acres of woods and natural
vegetation, just adjacent to a wildlife sanctuary. The
calm, natural environment complements the retreat center's purpose – to offer the experience of the power
of peace and inner silence that belong to the depths of
the soul.
Anubhuti, meaning “to experience,” is located 25 miles
north of San
Francisco
in Marin County.
This meditation and retreat center is operated by
the Brahma Kumaris.

|
The atmosphere is warm, simple, and wholesome. We have
nine guest rooms, each with three twin beds and a
private bathroom. Three vegetarian meals are served
daily. During your free time, relax on one of the patios
overlooking the bay in the distance, tuck yourself away
in the meditation room, or browse through the bookshop
where books and CDs are available to help deepen
individual spiritual understanding and meditation. Enjoy
self-guided meditation walks on the labyrinth or a group
class in hatha yoga or tai chi.

Understanding Karma
February 8 - 10 (Friday to Sunday)
|
|
Join
us for this weekend seminar as we explore the important
but mysterious laws of karma that govern our lives. You
will be introduced to the definition, expressions and
kinds of karma and provided the insights on how to
settle the karmic accounts. With the intent to help you
take responsibility for your own future, this seminar
will enhance your understanding of the effects of karma
on your well-being and provide the prudence to trust
these eternal laws. The seminar will include lectures,
reflection, discussion, meditation experiences and group
activities.
The facilitator, Dennis Hiebert, has been been a
meditator for 34 years and has studied, practiced and
taught Raja Yoga Meditation with the Brahma Kumaris for
22 years. He is the past President of the Activity
Directors Organization of San Gabriel Valley and an
