A Sacred Place in the High Desert ~ Joshua Tree

high desert. The dichotomy of the landscape ~ the explosion of
color. The deepest purples and brightest oranges appear in stark
contrast to the blue languishing in the sky. The nights are
filled with so many stars you think you must be in another
dimension directly experiencing the beautiful handiwork of
the Divine. The air is clear, delicate, unpolluted ~ the
energy is strong, filled with a peace that calms and centers you
immediately upon arrival. This is a place where you can meet
your True Self ~ the holy woman that is full of
wisdom, understanding, compassion and vitality. All
the material world is stripped away ~ there is no industry, no
pretentiousness, no need to look outside to find something to
distract. Here you will experience your aliveness ~ the pure
essence of your own beautiful energy.
Many of the greatest spiritual teachers have come from all over
the world to Joshua Tree ~ His Holiness the Dalai Lama has been
a guest here on several occasions.
