Wine Country Yoga and Wellness Retreat Relax, rejuvenate and renew at our weekend yoga retreat in Sonoma wine country with yoga, wellness, hiking, healthy nourishing food and delicious healing wines. Connect with yourself and others, relax by the pool or hot tub, and visit beautiful wine country. Vinyasa flow yoga for all levels, plus one yin/restorative class, including pranayama and guided meditations for balanced, grounded, safe and supportive practices. All levels welcome! Includes 2 nights accommodation, 6 nourishing meals, 2 evenings of wine tasting, hiking, yoga and meditation classes, outdoor pool and hot tub, scenic hiking trails, free time to explore. The retreat will be held at the beautiful Westerbeke Ranch in Sonoma, California, just 1 hour drive north of San Francisco and 5 minutes drive from Sonoma plaza, in the heart of breathtaking Sonoma wine country. Westerbeke has a lovely rural ranch feel and nestles amid stately oaks, surrounded by rolling grass hills and vineyards. There is an onsite outdoor pool and hot tub for soaking after yoga or hiking. Delicious fresh, local, nutritious, sustainable and mostly home-made food will be served 3 times daily, by wonderful cooks of the highest caliber, artists in their own right. The rooms are colorful, and country style, and contain 2, 3 or 4 beds, with a private bathroom per room. Yurts and tents are also available May through Oct.   Your leader is Sally Mitchell, RYT 200 Hour Yoga Teacher, Certified Massage Therapist, Reiki Practitioner, ChiRunning and ChiWalking Instructor, Integrative Nutrition Health Coach. Sally is passionate about teaching yoga and providing a healing and supported space to share the practices that have helped her to heal her own body and discover a path of transformation and self awareness. Growing up in Scotland, Sally has been an athlete since childhood, always loving movement and fascinated by the human body and mind. She is grateful to have the opportunity to inspire and help others become healthier and happier and awaken to their inner desires and purpose, through the gifts of yoga, meditation, mindful movement, massage and energy healing.
