Yoga in Bali 12 day retreat in Bali! We will base ourselves in two very different areas of Bali to give us a wide array of wonderful experiences; Uluwatu and Ubud. As well as yoga practice with Dorothy, enjoy beautiful inclusive guided walks, massage treatments, Temple tours, and a Balinese cooking class. A beautiful landscape rich with lush rice terraces, volcanic hillsides, and spectacular beaches combined with its temples, rich culture, the arts, the cuisine and the spa treatments! It's friendly, hospitable people creating a culture infused with spirituality makes this little island a special kind of paradise on earth.   Our home for the first 5 nights is in the most southerly part of Bali, where you will find the most beautiful beaches, in the Uluwatu area, overlooking the vast Indian Ocean. Yoga and outings to local beaches and temples will fill some of our days; other days we will relax and enjoy our massage treatments. Glorious sunsets and starry nights will amaze us in this wide open setting. The Uluwatu area is a surfers paradise and surf lessons can be arranged on request.

The second part of our journey will take us to the heart of Ubud; regarded as the cultural centre of Bali. Here, we will experience the richness of the culture,the arts, the cuisine and the spa treatments! We will stay in a charming, small hotel with elegant Balinese style guest rooms set in lush tropical gardens. Here, we will be treated to guided walks and massage treatments, as well as a market tour and cooking class with lunch! Ubud is full of culture, temples, art galleries and there are traditional Balinese dance and music performances on most evenings in the temples and cultural spaces.   Let Dorothy guide you through a variety of yoga styles such as Hatha, Hatha-Flow, Restorative, Yoga Nidra, Yin Style, Core Strengthening. Mixed levels classes. Enjoy twice daily meditation and pranayama classes. Dorothy will methodically lead you through pranayama techniques designed to purify the body and prepare the mind for meditation. Pranayama and meditation will be taught on a beginner level but will be suitable for all levels. Dorothy is a highly experienced teacher.
